We had a GREAT time this summer visiting churches, supporters, reporting on the work, the kids doing VBS, visiting family . . .
Here’s some pics:
(l) Baby Joel was born April 15 (same birthday as big brother Vail)
(r) This highway shot was just to show our Ethiopians what driving in our area of the country is like (on the interstate from KC to Wichita).
At Grandma’s lake in KC
Visit to Manhattn KS/Grace Baptist Church–At the Mugler’s farm.

It just happened to be the Clay County Fair weekend as well!
(l) NW MO farm again–it’s amazing how much more nostalgic we feel since living overseas.
(r) Visiting friends from church
Visit to Countryside Bible Church in Meade, KS.
Shooting guns with the Friesens in Meade KS. Visiting Meade lake with church friends (this is only a few miles from my family’s farmstead where I grew up).
We miss KS! On the way back from Manhattan to St. Joe, MO we stopped and had a picnic on a deserted country road.
