Friends in Durame

This sweet family lives just behind the school. Good ol’ people of the land who love Jesus.

Picking up 2 of students to take to Addis, just after graduation. They’ve been serving in this town for year now and are heading back to their hometown area, which is primarily Muslim and Orthodox.

I know it doesn’t look great in the photo, but this “dulet” (warmed not cooked) is delicious! It’s a typical breakfast dish. Scrambled eggs on the side. Dulet is essentially ground meat with a few sausage type parts thrown in.

The theological college next door was doing agriculture work after our class let out (I taught evangelism and discipleship to our students and theirs all together).

All our degree students received ESV Study Bibles in honor of Charles Bascom, a dear man of God who loved God’s Word, missions, and Ethiopia.

Since this gal graduated, we loaded their household goods on top of our Land Cruiser and took them to this new location where they will work to plant churches. IMG_2528

One church team brought numerous books and clothes items for our students which they are eagerly waiting for.
