Spring break to Durame

During the kids spring break we went to Durame to teach one course

4 sweet sisters. Notice the basket–these are chickens they are raising to sell for Easter

Late afternoon play time

The new dining hall is almost finished. We officially moved out of the building we shared with the school next door for several years, into our own. There was an hour of singing, praying, dancing, and coffee.

Beautiful work!

Pit stop on the road from Durame to Addis. I took this picture because I think this is THE best coffee I can find in Ethiopia.

These pictures is actually from a couple months ago of work on the new dining hall.

We had a thanks and prayer program that night.

Many church elders and the school board (area church elders) came

Our student Medhin made this memorial challenging readers to take up the call to missions just as God has done so much to bring the Gospel to this area by the hand of his servants.

The man on the left is Tesfaye, the faithful and hardworking foreman who practically-speaking made this whole project come to fruition. He stood on the job morning to night and not one step escaped his careful oversight. We thank God for such an encouraging example of faithfuless.

And we also thank God for some friends who so generously gave the money needed for this project.
